Work and family duties directed me away from the Wasatch Powder Keg this year for the first time in the past many years. It's OK though as I'm trending away from racing formally and moving to spending time in the mountains on my terms, on my course, with my rules. I was out with Jason on one of our favorite ski mountains in perfectly calm and warm conditions. The powder was still cold and dense on the northwest aspects and I'm pretty sure that this day, we both won.
